The 'Beyond the Borders" Film Festival continued on 2/9/16 with the screenings: "Silent Witness' by Dimitris Koutsiabasakos, "Next Stop: Utopia" by Apostolos Karakasis and "Concrete Utopia' by Anna Ilin & Josefine Bingemer. There were also the special screenings (outside competition) of the organization Balkans Beyond Borders: "One Line" by Dimitris Argyriou and "Refika" by Ozge Deniz Ozger.

On the fifth day of our festival three films were screened: : "The sacking of Phocaea, 1914" by Agnes Sklavou & Stelios Tatakis, "When Dahlias bend down" by Tasos Giapoutzis and "Kisses to the Children" by Vassilis Loules.
On the fourth day of "Beyond the Borders" festival three films were screened: "No Candies From Heaven" by Vangelis Kalambakas, 'Imvros, A Tale of Memories", production of the Hellenic History Foundation, by Irini Sarioglou & Panos Angelopoulos (outside competition), "The Story of the Friends" by Mahmoud Yossry from Egypt and "Cafe-Finovo" by Lefteris Fylaktos. The festival continues surrounded by various cultural activities
On 30/8/16, third day of the film festival ''Beyond the Borders'' three films were screened: ''Argo navis" by Stelios Efstathopoulos, "Dear Ancestor" by Menelaos Karamaghiolis" and the production of the Hellenic History Foundation (outside competition) "The Silent School-a journey through the history of the Chalki Seminary". The interest and the participation of the locals and visitors in the festival continues.
On the second day of the festival ''Beyond the Borders'' three films were screened: ''It was all just a good dream-The Frenchman from Vukovar'' by Branko Istancic, "Katinoula" by Myrna Tsapa and "memORIA' by George Iatrou.
The International Documentary Festival ''Beyond the Borders'' started -with great attendance and unexpected success- on 28/8, on Castellorızo ısland, wıth the screenıngs: ''I am ninety but...'', Michalis Chatzinikolaou, one of the last shipwrights, by Giorgos Tzedakis & Grigoris Tsiogas (outside competition), ''On the edge of the Aegean, Castellorizo''-production of the Hellenic History Foundation, by Irini Sarioglou & Angelos Kovotsos (outside competition) and ''The longest run'' by Marianna Oikonomou. It is the first time that a cultural institution takes such an initiative on the island
