On the occasion of 50 years since His All Holiness, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, started his venerable ministry into religious life, the Hellenic History Foundation (H.H.F.) organized 2 musical performances on the island of Imvros.

The concerts were performed at the amphitheatere of Imvros in Panagia village on 10th and 11th August 2011. Together with the Music School of Volos, members from the “Estoudiantina” orchestra took part, with a total of 35 musicians and choristers participating under the direction of Andreas Katsigiannis. Both nights were successful and the theatere was packed with Greek and Turkish residents and also many tourists.
